I updated my iphoto 4 and for some reason about 100 images didn't come along for the ride. I do have them backed up on cd and firewire drive so it isn't a huge deal for me. Just wondering if anyone else had similiar issues, or to warn people to make sure they back up first.

What version did you upgrade from and to? Are you using panther? Just wondering so when I get ready to upgrade I will back up everything up to that date. I have ripped most of my pictures, but would need to get everything up to date just in case. thanks,
I have ilife4 so iphoto is 4.0, upgraded to 4.0.1..I am not using panther, 10.2.8 is the osx version I have. The pictures that disappeared happened to be some of the photos I transfered from a pc, not sure that matters as I transferred about 500 and most of them were fine.flyfish29 said:
