iPhoto , 42GB libery//photos /vids

hi I bought the 13inch MacBook Pro and since iv had it I can't share any photos to FB or send them by email ,. any help ,. in sharing iv pressed the media button and a green dot went on now it says its on but its gray dot and the liberty is faded and I can't access it

have you tried enabling shared albums in the Photos preferences ?

yes took me a few days to find it but I downloaded all my hi def pics to my laptop and after that I was able to share my pics on desktop and folders on my desktop but I can't directly share any video or photo from iPhoto ,. been at it this morning and still can't get it sorted ,. thx 4 the suggestion

I turned on a few other sharing options but its still saying off because I don't have home sharing on and when I enter my password it says im locked out of my me.com account ! very frustrating

Media sharing in the Sharing preferences has got nothing to do with uploading photos in Safari. Ignore it.

In the Open panel you should scroll down the sidebar and expand the "Media" section.

good man thx that worked , but trying to share from pics is still locked ,. ill make an appointment to get it looked at its just 2 weeks old and worked fine at first ,. but THANK U ,. I had to pic any pic make a folder put it on the desktop and share from their was a pain but worked ,. ur a star
