Is there a way to update the RAW file support capability of iPhoto? I can't seem to get my RAW images off a Fujifilm S5500 - any clues?

I'd rather work on them in iPhoto than install the custom Fuji software if i can help it...

iPhoto uses the OS level RAW support. So iPhoto supports the same camera RAW formats and sensor types (yes each camera is a bit different even if the file format is the same) as Aperture which has a compatibility list. Your camera is not listed so is not supported by iPhoto, Aperture or Preview.

I'll have to use their software then, thanks for that one!
