Hey,

I recently installed the ML GM on my Mac and have been experiencing some issues. The largest being that iPhoto 9.3 no longer opens. Any help in the matter would be appreciated!

I have attempted reinstalling iPhoto to fix the issue but that did not help. I could not find a com.apple.iphoto.plist file to delete, which apparently helps in some cases.

The application will not launch at all. The icon will appear on my dock but even after waiting 20mins nothing occurs and I have to force quit it.

Thanks for any help!

Maybe it's an issue with your iPhoto library. You could try moving the library from where it is now so iPhoto can't find it at launch and has to ask you what to do.

Hello,

I did a clean install of ML, and iPhoto.

Initially iPhoto icon had a slash through it, and in software update, it couldn't find 9.1 so I had to manually update it to 9.1

Once 9.1 was done, it found 9.3 and installed that, and the icon still had the slash up-until the install was going on.

Once the install was done, icon went back to normal and loaded up fine.

I have gone back to Lion and now I wait for it to be released so I can start the process again (officially)

That worked for me! Moving my library to the desktop, launching iPhoto, then moving the library back to the Photos folder fixed the issue!
