I have a problem. I prefer the old iPhoto 9.6 but 9.6 can't understand iphone LIVE photos so they show up as .mov files and they don't import. So when I go to import new photos I have to wait for allllll the data to load on these Live Photos (which takes up a ton of CPU power) and makes everything super slow. I don't want to upgrade my iPhoto because all my fb albums are synced and the new iPhoto doesn't have the flag feature, it only has hearts/favorites which is not the same. So my question is should I upgrade to Lightroom and will it show Live Photos? Also can I disable these mov preview files so that it doesn't slow down my CPU?
