iphoto and photo album on web??

Can iphoto publish photo albums to the web and if so how many options does it give you? Any examples?

Yes, but you need .Mac, a bunch, and here

Why can't I use my own web space? Hopefully the next version of iPhoto will fix this.

Because Apple makes more money if you buy a .Mac subscription than if you don't.

you will need to just upload on your own, after exporting webpages.

it kind of makes sense, apple is not responsible for making their software integrate with non-apple service... one of .Mac's selling point is the fact web publishing is integrated with iPhoto...
