Brand new to mac, friends told me about iphoto and it's ablitity to do calendars etc. So this morning I fired it up and attempted to create a new calendar.
That was 15 minutes ago. the cursor is still spinning away in lovely rainbow colours. Now the screen has dimmed. My mac isn't locked, I can scroll to the app dock and open other things. I'm photographer and have accumulated over 10,000 images over the last few years (I'm a digital packrat too) could the program be recollecting image data for the calendar sub program and that's why it's taking so long or is there some other issue.
BTW the images are on an external drive.
Oh, it finally crashed.
