My Mac Mini is a back up computer that I use. Just recently the hard drive has become full.

I have mostly loaded some photos on it that I wanted in a back up location, however, not enough to fill the hard drive.

iPhoto, however, syncs with my Mobile Me Galleries of which I have 20 gig of photos.

My question is "does iphoto on the Mac Mini copy the photos from Mobile Me to the Mini when it syncs?" If yes, this would explain the hard drive being full.

How do I stop this as I do not need the pictures on the mini?

Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Now how do I remove the copied pictures? ie where are they? I assume they are all the pictures in the mobile me galleries?

iPhoto stores all pics in iPhoto library file so you have to remove them in iPhoto. If ALL the pictures are in MM as well, just open iPhoto, select Photos from side panel and then press cmd+A to select all and right-click and click move to trash
