iPhoto Heartattack

Once again a problem with my girlfriend's computer, makes it seem like I'm a moron and shoveling off problems on other people, eh? This one is her sister's fault. When in iPhoto she did what it tells you not to ever do. She tried to delete a photo straight from the system library. Now anytime that you try and import pictures the software crashes. Anyone else have this problem? I tried to reinstall iPhoto 4.0 (her lisenced version) and it still continues to bask in this lovely world of crashing. As usual, thanks for any help.

I'd say, delete the iPhoto.plist fiel in: yourname>Home Folder>Library>Preferences

Although this excited me at first (it started up differently), it still crashed when I tried to open up a picture. So that didn't work. Thank you though. Any other suggestions?????

Try forcing iPhoto to rebuild the library - this has worked for me in the past.

Make sure to BACKUP the photo folder first!
