I saved my iPhoto pics by navigating to the folder under the user and so on and burning it. Now I have reinstalled everything and the photo folder has categorized everything by year/month/day. Do I have to go in to each folder and drag individual pics to iPhoto? Talk about tedious!! Any advice? I know, I know, use iPhoto to make an iPhoto disc next time.

(((k)))

ugh. i'm afraid you have to go the tedious way...

iPhoto is notoriously picky about how it organizes it's file structure. it's almost better never to look at the files themselves because they will look very disorganized and wasteful.

i had to spend a few days recovering from a corrupt album. i ended up using iphoto library manager (which is a great app, btw) to split the albums so they all won't get corrupted at once.

yeah, like you wrote, use iphoto to burn cds...
