iPhoto in OSX not syncing all photos from iStream?

Hi,

I recently upgraded my laptop from a 2009 13" to a 2012 MBPR which has the new iPhoto on it.

For some reason it is only syncing 8 photos from my stream. Its not even the last 8 it seems to have pick a random 8 from the stream.

On my iPad and iPhone the stream shows many more pics.

I have tried disabling Photo stream in Mac OSX and renabling it but same issue (and same 8 photos). I think it must be laptop related as the stream on my iPhone and iPad work ok.

Tried a quick Google to see what could be the issue but no luck - any ideas?

Are these 8 actual photos or are they videos? Videos do not propagate across Photo Stream.

Its syncing 8 photos but there are far more photos for it to sync.

Same problem here - have ~1150 pics on iPhone and iPad, but only 1000 on iPhoto.
