iPhoto library lost with 5.0.4 update, HELP!

I just update to iPhoto 5.0.4 via Software Update, but since the update, my entire iPhoto library has been inaccessible via iPhoto. The photos can all be opened via Preview, and are all displayed as Preview/JPG files. How can I restore my library to iPhoto? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: It appears that JPG is the correct file extension.
