iPhoto Not Recognizing Pictures?

Hi all,
I went to open iPhoto to look for a picture and none of my pictures appear! It's as if iPhoto is brand new. It's iPhoto iLife '04 version and am absolutely baffled. My photos are still in the folders they've always been in. Has anyone experienced this or know what to do?

Maybe try rebuilding your library.

Sorry, it's hard to say how this happened without a bit of history because there are a few things that might cause this. I guess the most common reason would be if someone had accidentally moved, deleted or renamed anything in the iPhoto folder, more specifically one of the database files. When it comes to iPhoto, it's always best to leave that folder well alone if possible.
