Iphoto ( Problems with picasa )

I need to rescue photos I have on Iphoto. I downloaded Picasa software from the Web and somehow, it cleaned out my Iphoto some 1500 pics. Does anyone know how to rescue these photos out of Picasa without deleting them? Thanks for your help.

I think I get what you mean by resque, but I'm not sure, could you please be more specific and not use "rescue"? There is also a forum for this, the Mac Applications Forum, this is the forum to discuss the Hardware. Sorry.
