I downloaded and installed the Mobile Me update that was posted the other day on these forums and it changed everything over to Mobile Me expect iPhoto. It is still showing the Web Gallery icon in there and refers to .Mac still.

Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know of a solution. I have tried installing the update again and have had a look on other Apple related sites to no avail.

Any help will be much appreciated

Yup - trying to do a web gallery

Your .Mac account configuration is not correct.
You must set up your .Mac account in System Preferences.

OK - so in I go.

Account status...
An error was returned from the server. Please try again later.

So I tell Mobileme to sign out. I try signing in with my username and password, it tells me they're wrong. I try signing with with my username - but end it with @mac.com - and it signs in.

Back to iPhoto, try to publish to web again.

An error occurred while publishing the album
Request to the server failed

A free month doesn't help me right now does it Apple? ARHGHGHG this is the sort of error messages and total unusability I thought was only the realm of Vista!

Tiger or Leopard?

Sorry to hear you are having that issue. I was able to publish all of my albums a few days after the transition settled down.

Are you on Tiger or Leopard? Just curious.

Yeah, I had a few of those "Your password has changed" errors from iWeb and iPhoto a couple of days ago, but it's all working for me now. Sending photos to a webgallery from my iPhone works fine too (although the fact you have to email it is a bit clunky-I'd expect some sort of iPhone/iPhoto integration).

In fact, I have to say it, MobileMe is all working like a charm for me. Perhaps its just luck of the draw, but all the contacts, calendars, mail, webgalleries, idisk are working just as they should (given Apple's new wording on push vs sync of course).

Now all I'm waiting for is improvements - subscribed calendars showing on my iPhone for instance.
