Since I have gotten my new macbook I have done the updates when the computer has recognized to download them. My question is, is anyone else getting the "Can't install the iphoto update digital signature is corrupt or has been tampered with" or somethin of that nature. This is like the 3rd time it has done it

No I have not tried from Apple....lemme go an try that out Thanx :)

You could already have the package on your computer. Software Update keeps trying to read the bad update stored on your computer instead of getting a new one. I agree with getting it off of Apple.com instead of via Software Update.

You both are the BOMB!! I just went there, downloaded it and it installed just fine :D Thank you both for the quick help here. I am new to the Mac world and I love the help that I have been getting; helping me learn alot!!

Another question while I have you both here hehe. When a person downloads something you get the .dmg file on your desktop and the little drive for that packages file right above it. Well my question is b4 I knew about ejecting the drive and them moving the .dmg file to the trash, I would move the .dmg file to the trash b4 i ejected the drive then on a restart I noticed that it would move the drive into the dock right next to the trash icon. I would try to move it out to the desktop and the second that I let the drive go it would go "POOF" oh yea and it had a question mark on it when it was in the dock. By not ejecting it first am I messing it up or is it not getting properly removed then? I do it the right way now, as I said b4 this was all b4 I knew what I was doing. Thank you again for your help!!
