A MacNN reader notes that an update to iPhoto, Apple's digital photo application, is due out "soon" via the Software Update Control Panel. iPhoto 1.1 is expected to bring "enhanced editing, improved organizing and new ways to share your photos including the ability to include photos in Email, set your desktop picture and your Screen Saver slideshow."

"Soon" is awfully ambiguous. That could be tomorrow or, more like Apple, a month from now. Whenever it is, I'm looking forward to it.

Most likely WWDC (I hope) It will be nice to have better image editing options than the simple ones they have now. 5 more days and maybe a surprise.:D
