iPhotos to Photos.

Help! I upgraded from a 2018 MacBook pro from a 2009 MacBook pro. I'm trying to migrate my iPhotos pics to the photos app and it's not working in the moment. I've tried importing, but the iPhotos library is greyed out... What can I do?

I think you may be going about it wrong. Quit Photos then relaunch it while holding down the option key. You should get a popup asking what iPhoto library you want to use to import.

I actually tried it this way as well. Starts loading, but after 23%, it stops and gives me an error message.
