iPint no longer syncing

Okay, I've had iPint for a long time but rarely use it except to show people new to the iPhone some of the cool, albeit useless, things it can do I was camping over the 4th of July weekend and broke out my new 3GS intending to 'drink' a bit from iPint when I noticed it wasn't on the phone. I have a fair number of apps (50+), so I can't recall with any certainty the last time I actually saw the app on my iPhone. Going back into iTunes, I checked to make sure the app was selected to sync with the iPhone and sure enough it was. However; no matter how often I try, the app won't sync. I tried to uncheck the app in iTunes, sync the phone and it says it removed the app. I then check the app in iTunes again and iTunes claims it is installed, but it doesn't appear anywhere on the iPhone. I can't even find it through finder.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the information, but I was referring to the beer app iPint and not iPrint.

Your post made me curious. I had long ago deleted iPint and a bunch of other novelty applications, but I still have the file. It syncs fine to my 3G and it works under OS version 3.0. Not sure what your problem might be, but it doesn't seem like it is iPint itself.

your download version probably got corrupted. you could try re-downloading the app from the app store, it will let you get it for free since it is an upgrade.

Good idea, except iPint was pulled from the App Store long ago.

I figured it out and now feel pretty stupid. I must have been playing around with the age restrictions on apps at one point. I had it set up to only allow apps up to 12+. Apparently, iPint is a 17+ app. Interestingly enough, so are Pandora, Parallels, Public Radio, and Shazam. I could see iPint, but those others make me scratch my head.

Oh well, problem is solved. Thanks for all the tips and thoughts.
