iplayer over 3g

To play your iplayer over 3g try this it worked for me.

Start a program stream from the iplay in a wifi net work and pause.
when in a 3g network play the paused program
you cannow use the player over 3g provided you use that iplayer page and not start another one.

you can come out of the iplayer but provided you go back to that particular page it will still work. you can even turn off the iphone provided you go back to that page it should work.

Useful to know, but what's the point? If you have access to wifi, then why bother with 3G? Wifi is faster anyway.

It means that if you are in an area where you don't have wifi iplayer will still work and work very well dispite it being 3g
