Hello,

I have a 10GB 1st Gen. iPod. It still functions after almost 6 years ( although I did have to replace the firewire connector after about 3 years ). But the battery only lasts for ~30 min. I was thinking of replacing the battery, I see ones anywhere from $10-$30. I heard the "Newer" brand battery was best, but I don't know if it is worth it to replace at this point. Has anyone had recent experience replacing a battery in an older iPod? Can you recommend a specific brand?
