iPod ipod 4g wallpaper: retrieve photo

Who can help me? Some time ago I set a precious photo as wallpaper, and it is still there, but it not in my photo's anymore...
Also, when I want to choose a new wallpaper, the current photo is not shown.
How can I get this picture back? Where is it located?

Do a screenshot (press home button and power button at the same time) it will put a picture on your photos.
Then you can do anything with it, email, etc.

Because I know you probably want the whole photo (not just the part that is in between the black translucent bars), if it's on the home screen background wallpaper too, you can tap and hold on an app icon, and then scroll as far to the right as it will let you, and you'll get a blank home screen with nothing but the 4 docked icons at the bottom, so you can screenshot the image (with at least 75% of it visible). Hopefully that helps!

Dogfarm & Slix, thx for your ideas, I will try this, although I still wonder... this photo must be somewhere because it can show as wallpaper. So can anyone tell me exactly where it is located and how to get there?
