iPod iPod 5th Gen won´t boot

Hi
I just replaced my 5th Gen iPod because it was not working at all. Now that I´ve changed the battery, it will make this weird siren noise every time I try to reset it with menu and home button.
According to the battery that I installed it takes 3 hours charge the first time, but even though that time has passed, I´m not able to get anything else than the siren sound.

Any help?

Now besides the little siren sound... it makes a click click... like if the Hard Drive is trying to boot, but it just wont...
