So I have a 60 gb iPod that's seen me through some tough times, and only now is it starting to crap out on me (when I don't have the money to replace it, of course!).

I have a bunch of short videos on the iPod, and for months now I've been able to have them randomly shuffle in the playlist by choosing "Do not skip while shuffling" in the "Get Info" thingy and having the playlist shuffle the entire playlist. Only in the past few days has it stopped doing this - the iPod will easily pick a random video to play, but I cannot 'advance' to the next one; the iPod acts like it can't advance, and continues merrily playing the first item. When it finishes playing the first video, it loops back to the beginning of that video.

I tried to change the shuffle options in iTunes 9, but even after I selected "Do not skip" and the progress bar showed up, if I checked the info of the song right after it would still say it was skipping the song if shuffled. I uninstalled iTunes 9 and installed iTunes 8, and while it does seem to keep the settings after I set them, if I disconnect the iPod it forgets the settings and goes back to the one song only game.

I'm running the RC of Windows 7; I've been able to do this several times while using Windows 7 without a problem, it's only in the past couple days that this shenanigans has started up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So apparently in my sleep or something I changed the shuffle settings on the iPod itself. :) S'all good!
