iPod Ipod Classic 160 1.1.2 Firmware FAILED...

I have a 160 gb Classic that has worked flawlessly up until today, I had firmware 1.1.1 and it was great, itunes wanted to update to 1.1.2 and I let it
It worked great up until the halfway bar on my ipod got to the 50% mark and then the ipod shut off and retarded, itunes wont see it now, resets dont work, the thing sits at the APPLE logo screen and the HD spins nonstop though nothing is accessed
I think the firmware failed it..i dunno what to do..i have about 25,000 songs on there..

Its right next to me unplugged, spinning with the apple logo, doing nothing..
cant shut it off.

help?
apple said they will replace it but my music is ALL gone..

please help??

It may be worth waiting for is battery to drain, that would force it to restart and you may be able to recover your music.
