iPod iPod Classic and Apple Music

Do Apple Music songs that I download to my computer work with the last iPod Classic that was released?

I may get one for $250 (brand new!) but I want to make sure I can listen to downloaded songs from Apple Music.

That depends... Only the 5th & 6th generation iPod Touch work with the Apple Music streaming service. None of the classic iPods or even the current iPod Nano and Shuffle work with Apple Music. If you are talking about songs you purchased from iTunes (i.e. you paid for each song rather than a monthly subscription cost) then it will work with the iPod Classic. Hope that makes sense.
