iPod Ipod classic crashes

Hi,

I just bought an ipod classic for music in my car.
Everything works fine and all but when i sellect 1 artists album ( and only this 1 artist). The Ipod "Crashes" and shuffles between all the tracks on the album without playing it ( it stay's at 0:00 ) . i can't play any other song on my ipod untill i do a hard reset of the ipod.

Anyone had an idea what the problem may be?

Sounds like you might have one or more bad songs in the album. If you imported it from CD, I suggest you re-import the album. If it bought it as in AAC or MP3, re download the whole album.

Bad track encoding isn't supposed to cause an issue, however it does happen.

If you still have the issue, delete the tracks one at a time until the problem disappears.
