USB 2.0 cards are so cheap that I guess I'll just get one.

This card looks fine, but it doesn't list any OS X versions beyond 10.2. Is it actually incompatible with 10.3/10.4/10.5, or is it just specifications from 2002?

My stepdad got an iPod Classic for Christmas and it worked with his 7-year-old Compaq which has USB 1.1. As dukebound85 says, it's really uber-slow in song/video transfers, but it works.

I bought a classic the first day they became available and just installed a USB 2.0 card less than two months ago. It's not that the classic is incompatible with older USB technology, it's just that transfers take FOREVER on anything less than 2.0. I mean, I lived with it for half a year, but it was slow. I got sick of it; that's why I upgraded.
