Hi just rung apple because my iPod has died on me, and because I'm out of warranty they're wanting me to fork out £92 for a refurbished iPod with a 2 month warranty
I wouldn't mind so much, but the thing is, the apple guy said that I can't add applecare to it..
Is this true?
As the last two iPod classic's I've had, have died on me..
And I don't really trust a three month warranty tbh..

Yeah, you're screwed.

My previous classic died and they wanted $180, and I was thinking: $70 and thats a brand new iPod classic (I had the previous 80GB).

Now that I have a new one (which now has a problem outside of warrenty) for Xmas, my old one's just... $200, paper weight (would sell it if all my photos werent still on there).
