iPod iPod classic user interface on 5.5G iPod

Does anyone know of any reason that Apple can update the 5.5G ipod software so that it runs the new iPod classic and iPod nano user interface?

They won't even include search and the translucent overlay on the regular 5G iPod, they wouldn't do this even if it was possible...

That's going to be one of their selling points.

They didn't update the software from 5G to 5.5G, and trust me, I want that search feature.

But I guarantee you SOMEONE will find a way to get it to work. lol
