iPod iPod Classic Video Out

I recently bought a Belkins dock and a tv chord that connects it to the tv, but when i turn on video out it doesn't work it says:

What do I do to enable the Video out to work???

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think the only way to get video out from the classic is to use Apple's component video cable. I use that cable with an Apple Universal Dock with my classic and iPhone it works great. No doubt this solution costs more though.
