I live in New Zealand where it is currently 10pm (from my computer clock) and have an ipod nano 3rd generation. Recently the dates and times have been wrong on the ipod.

I read a previous thread about time zones (mine are also wrong) but if I set the ipod to the correct time it changes whenever I plug it in to my computer.

The ipod currently thinks it is 9am in the morning. Once I back up the data I will reset it, but does anyone have a suggestion in the meantime.

Thanks.

Check if there's an iPod software update for the 3rd generation nano. I doubt resetting the iPod or reinstalling iTunes would fix the issue, so the next thing would be to restore the iPod assuming the music/playlists are ok on the computer.
