iPod crashes on ipda

Each time I press the iPod icon on my iPad it opens for about one second and then takes me back to the home screen. I just restored the iPad and that did not help.

Any ideas on what could be causing the issue? I only have one album currently on the iPod part of the iPad.

Maybe there is something in the album that is corrupt. Try removing the album and only add one song at a time and see if it is a particular song doing it?

Did you restore as a new device? Are you jailbroken?

I restored the iPad, that did not help. I am not into or have never jail broken ANY of my idevices.

I did find this tip and WOW it worked! I did not even have to watch a video, just opening up and then closing the videos app did the trick.

I opened the "videos" app and watched a video, and then i tried the ipod app again and it started working magically. weird, right?

Very weird that you would try out the iPod feature before the Videos app. One of the first things I did when I got my iPad is load a video to it to see how awesome it would look.
