I have found very little on this forum about using direct connect methods of integrating an ipod to a factory stereo (direct connect allows you to use your factory stereo to see the ipod as a cd-changer, allowing direct audio feed and controls through the car stereo).

I'm looking at the Neo iOn2 or the Peripheral PXDP. I can get the PXDP for ~$130. iOn2 is about $200.

Anyone have either of these? How well do they work? Do they properly charge the ipod? How did installation go? Do you have a different manufacturers version of direct connect?

I would also like to hear about any experiences with these products, good and/or bad.

sorry for the bump

edit: It's not stated in the OP that this is for factory car stereos
