I just bought the universal dock with its remote but much to my dismay, it works better on my Apple then on the dock itself... ;)

When I try to use the dock remote, my macbook wakes from sleep, iTunes stars on my Mac Mini etc... I remember reading somewhere that it is possible to pair the computers to one remote. But I've got three Apple and three remotes...so, I would like to pair the (fourth :( ) iPod remote to its dock and leave my :apple: computers alone.. Is it possible?

I fret that if any of my friends sets an :apple: laptop in my living room is going to find it melted if it wakes from sleep closed while I use the ipod dock via the remote....

Any ideas aside from hanging a disclaimer on the wall? :p

On a corollary note: I think it's total nonsense to use the same remote on the dock to save. what? Like we don't pay enough?
