Tragic accident led to the death of one of my earbuds. Does anyone know where I could get a new pair (for a good price)? I would like to ask on Marketplace, but I'm still relatively new. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't use my earbuds without pads - cause they'd fall out easily when moving.

But I recently bought some cool little clip on gear that fits over the buds and goes into the ear. My ear buds don't fall out anymore, and everything sounds better!

Highly reccomend these little guys !!!

Unless you like the whole trendy look of the white earbuds, I would buy some different headphones. Those Apple earbuds aren't that great.

you can get them replaced by apple

I second that, if you have an Apple Store near by and the product you purchased them with (or you have an apple product that came with earbuds you got in the last year) is still underwarranty all you have to do is make sure you registered your product with apple, write down the serial number of the prodcut you are replacing the earbuds for and go up to the genous bar...they will give you a new pair on the spot. Its awesome I have had like three ipods and just stop by and pic up an extra set or two when I can...love the apple earbuds!

When I called the Apple store in my area to ask about it, they said that if there was physical damage done to the earbuds they would not replace them.

The iPod headphones are great for everyday use. Especially because they are much louder than other headphones at the same volume. Handy if you are using your iPod while Mowing the lawn.

I have a brand new pair that have never been used. They came with my Nano, but I have another set I use. If you interested in them I would be willing to sell them for $25 shipped. Let me know.

Thank you for the offer, but I agree with the previous poster about that being an incredibly steep price. I like them as everyday headphones, but not THAT much! :p If anyone is willing to let their earbuds go for $10 or so shipped (maybe a little higher), let me know. Thanks again for all the input, guys!

Meh,

I sold a pair two years ago for $25 shipped on ebay, but that was really before the mass invasions, and everybody had extra headphones.

I figured since apple still charges $40 for the headphones and the remote, it was a fair offer. Guess it was too high.

Just checked eBay though, and it looks like you can pick up a pair for $ 8.99 plus $4 shipping. So thats $12 shipped, about your price range.

Link if you interested.

I have the white fontopias they are great and priced just right too

I had the standard Apple headphones until they broke, then the Sony's in white until they broke, and now i've got the Apple in-ear 'phones. I never had any complaints about the original Apple 'phones except they had weak bass (and that they broke). The Sony 'phones sounded much nicer but the plastic on the cables started to get gummy after a while and started to rub off, exposing the copper cables underneath. Once the plastic/rubber was gone it was only a matter of time before the cables got cut. The Apple in-ear 'phones are nice, better than the original Apple 'phones but not quite as good as the Sony's. The design took a little getting used to, but no real issues. I tried switching the in-ear molds from the Sony to the Apple buds and they fit fine. Personally, I didn't notice much of a difference. The bass is a little better with the Sony 'phones, but nothing critical.
