iPod ipod engraving problem

I love the new iPod and I want to buy it, so I'm planning on giving my old one to my brother. The only thing is that I had it engraved, so now it says my name on it--any ideas of how I could hide that? I was thinking about buffing it, but I'm not sure it will work.

I would second the case suggestion. There are even cases that match the colour of the iPod. Those are laser engraved, you'd pretty much have to take a whole layer off of the back. Plus, your brother would probably put it in a case anyway.
