Ok. I'm not sure what to do now. I hooked up my iPod mini today and it tried to sync it with my calander. It was all going swwimingly but then I get an error that reads: "Attempting to connect to disk "Ipod name" failed. An unknown error occured. (-51)" Now I can't do anyhting with my iPod but delete songs off it.

Well just from looking around, the error -51 is from too much data being sent. They only way out of it they others could figure out is the reformat it and then it becomes usable again....

Others may have different suggestions...

As long as your songs are in iTunes, then you won't lose any of your music.

Yeah I had to end up resotring my iPod it worked and thankfully I only had a small amount to put back on it, but this isn't the firs time it's happened to me.

If it happens again I may send somthing to apple about it. Has anyone else had this problem before?

This same problem has been posted a couple of times on Apple's iPod Support Discussion forums, but it doesn't seem to be a huge issue.
