iPod iPod frozen on grey screen with apple logo

My iPod often freezes after I exit a game or video. The screen becomes grey and displays the apple logo and the iPod just freezes. I usually reset by clicking center and menu or by connecting the iPod to my PC. But its really annoying. Anyone know how to fix this?

edit: Its a 6g iPod Classic (120 GB)

Could be an issue with the iPod OS...have you tried restoring the iPod and putting your video/music/games content back on it?

It didnt help. It just happened again today
