My iPod hard drive got corrupted when I dropped it. Is there any in home solution to fix this. Like installing a new one. It's a 3G. I wish I had money to get a new one, but I don't. Thanks

you can get HD upgrades from ipodmods with the option of them installing it or DIY (they have some links to how-tos but it looks pretty frightening)
[edit] actually the mod for adding an external (!) non-ipod drive is frightening, just replacing it with another iPod one looks pretty straightforward here
