iPod Ipod Help!

my current ipod has a bunch of song on it that I ripped from cds (okay, and a few illegal downloads). However, that was two computers ago, so I'd have to re-rip the music, provided I still have it.

I can't seem to add the ripped stuff to my itunes on my current computer. I think it has something to do with copy rights, but it could also be b/c I don't know enough about macs.

Is there some way I can transfer those songs to my iTunes? I've heard that some people know how to do it.

What file type are the songs? If you were able to get the songs onto a CD, im sure you could put them into itunes.

1. Put the CD in
2. Select the CD on the sidebar in iTunes.
3. Select "import from CD"

By definition it is not necessarily a bad thing, but unfortunately on blogs and forum threads it is used as a derogative comment.

Some around the web define it as: A fan, short for fanatic and sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with an intense, occasionally overwhelming liking and enthusiasm for a product. (ME!))

....or Someone (normally male) who is utterly devoted to a single subject or hobby, often to the point where it is considered an obsession (again, ME!)

....and even some add this: is a term originating in the United States[citation needed], used to describe a male who is highly devoted and biased in opinion towards a single subject or hobby within a given field. (perhaps I am a little biased, but only due to logical reasons!)

I believe it is the biased part that makes the use of this word negative.

I rec searching for "importing songs off iPod into iTunes" and see if the proposed instructions work in your instance. It might depend on the type of iPod you have as well which you never told us fanboys!

If I understand you correctly, let me explain. Your iPod is a portable device. You can put whatever you want on to it. However, you're not meant to use it as a transfer-device, or get things off of it. It syncs to one iTunes Library at a time, and you can only sync to the iPod, not from the iPod. (Yes, I know there are workarounds. We're keeping things simple for him.)

I believe, what you're looking to do, is get all the music you know and love that's on your iPod back to your computer. Well, since you've neglected to tell us about anything else you own other than the fact you have an iPod, I can't help you any further. Either you can rip all of your CDs to iTunes, and start fresh by re-syncing it, or you can pull music off of that iPod using the guide I provided.
