iPod iPod/iPhone built in 'line out' DACs over the ages?

Are there any appreciable difference in the DACs used for line out on iPods and iPhones over the ages? Currently I have all of these models:

iPod Nano 2G
iPod 5G
iPod Classic
iPhone 4
iPhone 5s (no built in line out DAC but can use Apple 30p adapter with onboard DAC)

Just curious how their built in line out DACs compare to each other. Right now thats all I'm playing with. Not ready to pull the trigger on a digital LOD for the iPhone 4/iPod Classic just yet.
