Hy,
I'm having a little problem with my iPod (classic 120gb), I tried to create to partitions on it so I could also use it on a Windows as an external HD, so I created 2 partitions. Then I noticed that my iPod was still working but that I couldn't sync it any more with iTunes, I was expecting this a little bit but I thought that it couldn't be bad to try it out. Well it didn't function so I thought that reformatting my iPod back to one partition would resolve it.
It didn't (otherwise I wouldn't be writing this...). Now when I try to sync my iPop with iTunes everything looks normal, iTunes is putting everything on my iPod, but after everything is put on my iPod it says "iPod could not synchronise, file not found". (screenshot: ). I tried several times but I keep getting the same problem, and my iPod doesn't show any song so that's pretty annoying. Anybody a clue about how I could resolve this?

How did you create the partitions? By erasing the iPod completely and creating two new partitions? By simply resizing the original partition and creating a second? Something else?

Using disk utility and simply creating 2 partitions, I didn't want to format everything to keep my music at first.

I think I'll go and ask some help in an apple store or something like that, if anybody else could help me it would still be very welcome.

Edit: after messing around a bit I found that my problem was solved when I choosed not to sync my pictures, as I don't really need them on my iPOd this is good enough for me. So if anybody would have the same problem they could always try that.
