iPod iPod + iTunes Problem!

Hi all,

This is on my Dell (yikes, I know)...Yesterday I plugged my D-Link USB Hub into a USB port and my computer instantly crashed for some reason. My iPod was plugged in at the time (into another USB port on the computer - not the hub) and now when I try plugging it in, it says it is updating iPod - do not disconnect, I see my iPod in iTunes, but then after like 45 seconds it automatically ejects and the iPod is no longer functional through iTunes and I can't see it on My Computer...Any suggestions?

Try restoring your iPod if you can. Go to the web page below, download the iPod updater and do the restore option.

I have my iPod set to manual though. Will I lose all my songs?

Yeah, the restore option of the Updater program will restore all settings to factory default and erase all files.

I did that just this morning...
