I've had the mini for more than a year now... but i have the old version which has around 8 hours of battery life or less...

Could I possible change the battery to the upgraded version that has 18 hours i believe? or around 16?

How much would that cost me to upgrade if possible?

BTW, i didn't buy the ipod at an Apple store,I got it at Marshall fields and lost my receipt. Do i send it to Apple?

Thank you all for any help! :)

Yeah, buy a nano.

Kinda a good idea, because the amount of money your going to be spending every so often changing batterys the time and the effort you could just get a brand new nano for what £140? a a second hand one for £100 or less if your lucky.

If you want to keep your mini (like i did myself) then go to the apple website and then do a search for battery life then you will find all the info you need about the MIni's battery life.
