Hello all! I've got a perplexing issue with a second-gen iPod mini. Every time it reboots, it loses a number of its settings:
  • The language selection (it prompts me to select a language each reboot).
  • The clicking sound being turned off.
  • The backlight timer.
  • The status of the title bar clock.
It keeps the time/date properly, and none of the stored music is affected. I've restored the iPod and it still does the same thing. The battery works fine, and I get many hours of listening out of it. Any ideas?

I'm assuming that a restore is *not* the same thing as a "hard reset"... perhaps try a hard reset and see if that fixes your issue? Best of luck!
