iPod iPod mini - no sound after battery replacement

Hello MacRumors user,

I've got couple of days ago a new battery for the iPod mini (2nd generation), after I replaced it yesterday the sound (audio jack) stopped working. I don't see any broken parts and I opened it carefully.
I also restored the iPod and put it couple of times again in parts and then again together, nothing helped.

Any ideas how to fix it? Or do I have to order a new audio-jack part respectively and line-out?
