I got the buy a mac get a free ipod mini deal back in august and still havent recieved my rebate for the ipod mini yet. Apple claims that i did not send them the right invoice for the apple computer and ipod. I sent them the web order form as well as the emails i recieved about the orders. They did not send me any hard copy invoice with the ibook or ipod, and on my recent purchase of an ipod video i also didnt recieve one. Does anyone now an email adress or phone number i can use to file a complaint or something, or have any ideas what i should do about it?

thanks

I always receive an invoice via email a few days after any Apple purchase I have made. It doesn't come immediately. Is that the one you printed off and mailed?

I really can't remember if I received one with my iBook, but I would think I had.

Ideas??? Keep calling until you get satisfaction! Check your emails to see what you have from that purchase and go over the requirements with Apple on the phone.

I used the printed order confirmation from the internet when I got an Apple rebate before...hmmm...keep calling them and complaining. Sorry they're not playing nice with you. :(

Back in July or so I ordered a 12" powerbook with the free iPod mini deal, and like you, sent in my online invoice and e-mailed receipts because I had misplaced the snail-mailed invoice at the time. I even, against Apple's rebate rules, peeled off the sticker from the box instead of cutting it out with the box included underneath (though I later realized my mistake in time and cut out the portion of the box the stick was on and included it in the envelope that I sent to them)... almost 8 weeks later to the day got my rebate check, no problems.

I would keep trying to explain the situation to them.

Did you keep copies of everything? Read over the fine print and escalate the call to a supervisor, etc. until you get some satisfaction.
