While transferring music from/to an iPod (managing a library on 2 of my computers) the docking cable came out (during transfer) not wit seems all the music on the iPod skips and is horribly out-of order from the point on the iPod that the cable came out. I had this problem before on a 1G ipod, but I have now got it here - Help what do i do!?
Before I had to re-encode all the CD's but I can't do that again!
Please help! have tried repairing the disk, but it returns ok!
I think a defrag program may help!
Please help people who have seen this and know what I mean!

I can't update it as a lot of the music is not on my system, and the HD of my powerbook G3 is not big enough (by 4 times!) please help!

Update: It seems to have affected all the music transferred from the iPod past a certain point, and not the music not transferred beyond that point.
Please help!
