Hi all,

I have an 8 gig 2G nano that is coming up on the 1 year mark, so I need to decide soon whether I want to take the plunge on AppleCare or not. Your thoughts?

I'm thinking not since it's flashed based, but I have used AppleCare for HDD based iPods several times in the past.

I've had no real problems to speak of...I've twice had an issue where it would play songs for about 1 minute and then constantly reset itself, but connecting it to a computer would fix the problem, and I really think the POS PC I was using at the time was causing it. I recently got an MBP and formatted it for Mac and have has zero issues.

Thanks,

Gary

Heh...that ain't happenin'! I like the 3G, but my 2G is already a perfect fit for everything I use it for. :D
